The cozy three-seasons porch is adorned with comfortable white wicker furniture to enjoy morning coffee, afternoon naps, quiet work space, or evening games.
Other Details to Note
It is a block from the Nishna Valley YMCA, the two elementary schools that both have large playgrounds (Washington Elementary playground is new), and Bull Creek Park and Pathway. Atlantic has an adorable downtown area with several boutiques, shops, restaurants, Sunnyside Range (public driving range, putt putt course), Sunnyside Pool, Splash Pad (opening Sept 1, 2024), Disc golf at Sunnyside Park (can borrow discs, bikes, and many games from Atlantic Parks and Recreation at this park), Schildberg Quarry Recreation area (2 new playgrounds, miles of biking/walking path, ponds and a river), and 2 golf courses. Only minutes to walk or drive to any amenity in the city. Produce in the Park is 4:30-6:30 on Thursdays June - October. It is located in the park on 7th and Chestnut Street. There is also a public library with free wi-fi, Walmart, Fareway, Hyvee, and Capple’s Ace Hardware. Cass County: Underground Railroad Hitchcock House and The Rock Cuts at Cold Spring park, Lewis, Iowa. Lake Anita at Anita State Park, Anita, Iowa. Highway 6/ White Pole Road runs through the middle of Atlantic. It is only 8 minutes south of Interstate 80. It is also 13 miles to 'Antique City', Walnut, IA, Atlantic is one hour to Downtown Omaha (Old Market, restaurants, galleries, the College World Series every summer and the “worlds best zoo” Henry Doorly Zoo). Atlantic is an hour and 15 minutes to downtown Des Moines (restaurants, shopping, State Fair, Adventureland, State Capital).
